VIVA Palestina: A call to Action: Your Choice For Palestine

We stand at a pivotal moment in history, where the truth, though often obscured, cannot remain hidden forever. In the heart of Gaza, a relentless genocide unfolds, increasingly recognized by experts worldwide yet still alarmingly ignored by many in the media and political spheres. Meanwhile, in the West Bank, an apartheid regime reigns, its severity surpassing even the darkest chapters of South Africa's history. This harsh reality is acknowledged by human rights organizations, experts and even ex-Mossad leaders, is also denied by most politicians in Brussels, Belgium and in the European Union.
As citizens of Brussels, Belgium and the European Union, we are appalled by the tacit approval of these crimes among the political elites. The European Union's unwavering support for Israel's actions, equating them with the desperate resistance of a people on the brink, reveals a disturbing imbalance. This is why Brussels, the heart of the EU, must be transformed into the hub for the support for the Palestinian cause.
We are here to disrupt the status quo, to challenge the narrative and turn the tide. Our message is clear and resolute: #VIVAPalestina! 
​This slogan is more than words—it's a cry for life, a commitment to justice, and a call to action for all who stand with us in solidarity against injustice.
Viva Palestina will set its first step on this long road through participating in the elections for the Brussels Parliament this coming June 2024. We want to send MP’s to parliament with three objectives:

1. Recognizing the Gaza Genocide: VIVA Palestina is resolutely committed to ensuring the Brussels Parliament recognizes the Gaza genocide as such. This would be an important international precedent. Consequently, we will relentlessly advocate for Brussels to spearhead international efforts to bring those responsible to justice.
2. Uncompromising Stance Against Apartheid in Palestine: We are steadfast in our mission to dismantle the apartheid regime in Palestine. In the Brussels Parliament, we will advocate for stringent sanctions and boycotts against Israel and other complicit entities. Our aim is to position Brussels as the global epicenter of the fight against colonialism and apartheid in Palestine, setting an example for the European Union and beyond.
3. Assertive Advocacy for Palestinian Rights and Sovereignty: We are dedicated to vigorously defending Palestinian rights to self-defense, self-determination, and statehood. Our strategy includes galvanizing support within the Brussels Parliament and across the Belgian political spectrum, actively campaigning for the international recognition of Palestinian rights and sovereignty.
 Our mission in Brussels is vital and clear. This city, beating at the heart of European decision-making, is where our movement finds its voice. Our goal is to address the issues at their very core, right here where policies are made and influenced. Our message is simple yet powerful, in the here and now, #VoteVivaPalestina
